My dd whos in kindergarten now i see what the boys wear and would never send my son to school in what they wear, plus he wouldnt wear it.He will not wear character or action figure clothes which is what most of the boys wear.A lot polo ralph lauren outlet of the boys wear hand me downs i can tell too since they are probably a size 5 wearing a size 8 shirt that hangs to their knees. Right now brock wears a lot of gymboree but it seems too babyish for school.His gap clothes are mostly church clothes since hes so hard on clothes and that the only place he can go that he wont destroy them or put holes in them.He has some quicksilver shirts but sometimes it hard to find those on sale or cheap. So where do you shop for your younger school aged kids thats affordable so that when he ruins it after wearing it once or twice you're not freaking out and thats still"Cool"? My son is in k right now.Hates jeans, and any shirts that feel rough.Much he lives in t shirts, cotton or nike shorts, or if it's cold sweat pants.Has pe everyday, plus recess, so i think he just likes to be comfortable.Has some nice clothes, but i usually take him shopping and let him pick out what he wants to wear.Long as it's clean, fits and he is happy, i don't make a huge fuss over his clothes issue.Is hard on clothes and shoes, so we stick with walmart, target and kohls.Always get compliments on their clothing style.They like to dress this way.By choice.My younger cheap ralph lauren son always loved wearing red, blue orange brighter colors but not together.My older son has always liked wearing khaki greens, blues, browns black, darker blues more subdued colors. They usually wear childrens place/old navy or target polo's, henleys, khaki's jeans or cords.With brown leather shoes/velcro!Yes they make cool velcro shoes!Childrens place has some or rugged outback from payless are great! My older son loved wearing sporty looking track suit type outfits to school always cheap ralph lauren polo got lots of compliments.Or a sporty shirt jacket with jeans nicer athletic shoes. Ods starts k in the fall and i've been thinking about this a lot too.Most likely do regular t's, graphic t's(Sponge bob and mario are big right now along with baseball and soccer sport t's), and a couple polo's thrown in there for fun.The winter we like to do lots of hoodies(John deer, gap, wal mart, penneys whatever lol)And some regular ol' long sleeve shirts.Also like to layer the long sleeve undershirts with the t's.Will have graphics some will be plain.And athletic pants is what he usually wears as bottoms.
